• Ei tuloksia

Suomalaisten koetun elämänlaadun ja liikuntaharjoittelun välisestä suhteesta sekä pilatesharjoittelun vaikutuksista suomalaisessa ympäristössä kaivataan lisää tietoa.

Jatkossa aihetta olisi hyödyllistä tutkia isommalla aineistokoolla, tutkimusintervention avulla ja pidemmällä tutkimusjaksolla. Näin saataisiin paremmin yleistettävissä olevaa tietoa koetun elämänlaadun ja liikuntaharjoittelun suhteesta sekä pilatesharjoittelun vaikutuksista.

8 JOHTOPÄÄTÖKSET

Tämän pro gradu –tutkielman perusteella voidaan tehdä seuraavat johtopäätökset:

Tässä tutkimuksessa pilatesharjoittelu vaikutti tutkittavien elämänlaatuun positiivisesti.

Pilatesharjoittelu soveltuu tämän tutkimuksen mukaan kuntouttavaksi ja yleistä hyvinvointia lisääväksi liikuntamuodoksi, jonka avulla voidaan mahdollisesti vaikuttaa positiivisesti useaan elämänlaadun eri osa-alueeseen.

Teen liikuntalääketieteen opintoihini liittyvää pro gradu –tutkielmaa, jonka aiheena on pilatesharjoittelu ja koettu elämänlaatu. Tarvitsen tutkimuksen tekemiseen apuasi.

Tarkastelen tutkimuksessani pilateksen harrastajien omia kertomuksia pilatesharjoittelusta ja koetusta elämänlaadusta. Voit osallistua tutkimukseen kirjoittamalla ylös ajatuksiasi elämänlaatusi ja pilateksen välisestä suhteesta. Voit käyttää kerronnassasi alla olevia apukysymyksiä, mutta niihin vastaaminen ei ole välttämätöntä.

Voit myös kertoa niistä asioista, jotka itse koet tärkeäksi ajatellessasi pilatesharjoittelua ja koettua elämänlaatuasi.

Kertomuksen muoto on vapaa. Voit kirjoittaa sellaisella tyylillä, mikä sinulle sopii. Myös kertomuksesi pituuden voit itse päättää. Käsittelen vastaukset luottamuksellisesti.

Tutkimukseen osallistujien nimiä ei julkaista tutkimuksessa.

Kertomuksesi on minulle arvokasta tietoa ja tutkimuksen kannalta välttämätöntä tutkimusaineistoa. Pyydän, että lähetät kertomuksesi minulle sähköpostilla viimeistään 31.12.2018.
