Tuotettu videomateriaali soveltuu käytettäväksi lääketieteen perusopetuksessa lastentautien kurssilla käytännön harjoitusten yhteydessä ja itsenäiseen opiskeluun.
Videomateriaali ei kuitenkaan korvaa lapsen elvytyksen lähiopetusta, jossa opiskelijat itse pääsevät elvytyssimulaatiota harjoittelemaan. Mielestäni opetusvideot toimisivat parhaiten katsottuna
itsenäisen oppimisen tukena ennen elvytyksen lähiopetusta. Videoita kuvatessa ennalta käydystä
lähiopetuksesta ja edeltävästi luetusta käsikirjoituksesta huolimatta simulaatiotilanteet eivät aina edenneet optimaalisesti. Omatoiminen perehtyminen opetusvideoihin ennen lähiopetusta voisi helpottaa opiskelijoiden toimimista lähiopetuksen elvytyssimulaatiotilanteessa. Itse
lähiopetuksessakin opiskelijamäärät ja ajankäyttö huomioiden resurssit ovat rajalliset, eivätkä kaikki pääse toimimaan johtajana. Videoihin voi tarvittaessa perehtyä vielä kertaavana materiaalina opetuksen jälkeenkin.
