Sosiaali‐ ja terveydenhuollon tietojen käsittely‐
yhdistyksen järjestämät tutkimuspäivät järjestetään Terveydenhuollon atk‐päivien yhteydessä.
Tutkimuspäivät muodostavat foorumin Suomessa teh‐
tävälle sosiaali‐ ja terveydenhuollon informatiikan, tietotekniikan ja tiedonhallinnan tutkimukselle ja kehit‐
tämistoiminnalle.
Alan tutkijoita, tutkimusryhmiä, opiskelijoita ja kehittä‐
jiä, jotka haluavat esitellä tutkimuspäivillä tutkimuksi‐
aan tai käynnissä olevia tutkimus‐ ja kehittämis‐
hankkeita pyydetään lähettämään paperi‐ tai posteri‐
ehdotukset 6.1.2016 mennessä.

MIE2016, will be held in conjunction with GMDS, DGE‐
pi, and IEA.
This is one conference joining the activities of four scientific disciplines Medical Informatics (MIE2016), Medical Biometry, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology and Health Data Management.
It will serve as an important scientific forum for the exchange of new ideas and applications to strengthen health sciences on a national and international level.
The analysis of health as a complex system opens new perspectives on a challenging reality: filtering current hypotheses, resolving controversies, and tailoring inter‐
