• Ei tuloksia

Tämä tutkimus on yksi ensimmäisistä Nuorten KOMPASSI -mobiili-interventiota tutkivista tutkimuksista. Laajempaan tutkimukseen kuuluu lisäksi myös muiden muuttujien tarkastelua, mutta tämän tutkimuksen pohjalta intervention tulokset ovat olleet lupaavia erityisesti tyttöjen osalta. On huomionarvoista, että interventiolla oli tilastollisesti merkitseviä yhteyksiä vain tyttöjen psykologiseen joustavuuteen ja urasuunnitteluun liittyvään minäpystyvyyteen, mutta ei poikien. Toisaalta tutkimuksesta poisjätettyjen joukossa oli enemmän poikia, mikä on voinut vaikuttaa tutkimuksen tuloksiin. Jatkossa voisi miettiä keinoja, kuinka poikia voisi sitouttaa ohjelmaan paremmin. Syytä olisi myös pohtia, miten kaikkien ohjelmaan osallistuvien nuorten motivaatiota voisi lisätä ja olisiko motivaatiolla ja ohjelmaan sitoutumisella vaikutusta ohjelman tarjoamiin hyötyihin. Lisäksi interventiota voisi suunnitella laajemmin toteutettavaksi, esimerkiksi tehdä se kaikille suomalaisille yläkouluikäisille saatavaksi tai

esimerkiksi osaksi koulupäivää. Ohjelmaa voisi tutkia laajemmalla otoksella ja ehkä myös muiden yläkouluikäisten keskuudessa. Lisäksi olisi hyvä tutkia, sopisiko interventio myös itsenäisesti tehtäväksi tai esimerkiksi oman opettajan tai opinto-ohjaajan johdolla. Jatkossa tulisi tutkia myös mitä muita hyvinvoinnin tekijöitä Nuorten KOMPASSI -mobiili-interventiolla voitaisiin tukea. Lisäksi olisi mielenkiintoista selvittää, miten ohjelma vaikutti nuorten urasuunnitelmiin ja helpottiko se uravalintaa.

Tutkimuksesta nousi esille myös mielenkiintoinen havainto psykologisen joustavuuden muutoksen yhteydestä urasuunnitteluun liittyvän minäpystyvyyden muutokseen. Tällaista yhteyttä ei tietääksemme ole aikaisemmissa tutkimuksissa tarkasteltu ja se kaipaa lisätutkimusta. Jatkotutkimukset voisivat kohdentua esimerkiksi siihen, miten psykologinen joustavuus ja urasuunnitteluun liittyvä minäpystyvyys ovat tarkemmin yhteydessä toisiinsa tai onko ohjelmassa jokin muu komponentti, joka selittäisi yhteyttä paremmin.

Nuoruus on monien muutosten aikaa. Tutkimuksesta voidaan todeta, että hyväksymis- ja omistautumisterapiapohjaisella mobiili-interventiolla voidaan tukea ainakin yläkouluikäisiä tyttöjä psykologisen joustavuuden ja urasuunnitteluun liittyvän minäpystyvyyden osalta.

Jatkossa Nuorten KOMPASSIa ja sen kaltaisia interventioita voitaisiin hyödyntää kaikilla yläkouluikäisillä yleisen hyvinvoinnin ja siirtymään liittyvän uravalinnan tukena.
