Perho, Kaija, Ph.D., has graduated from the University of Helsinki majoring in Russian language and literature. The topic of her Master's thesis was “The Euphemisms in Russian Language” (1974). She has worked at the University of Joensuu at the Department of Foreign Languages in 1974-1976, since 1976 at the Teacher Training School of the University as a teacher of Russian.
