Theme: Digitalisation and AI – how are they used in pharmacy and its related sciences, now and in the future?

Digitalisation and AI is one of the Dosis journal's themes for 2022.

We are now calling on scientists specialising in different areas of pharmacy and its related sciences (incl. medicine, health care, health and nursing sciences, and life sciences in general) to contribute to our special issue.

We are looking for articles on studies, applications, processes, challenges and solutions related to digitalisation in the field of pharmaceuticals, pharmacotherapy and health care services or their costs, impact and cost- effectiveness. You can also discuss various methods and processes in which Real World Data & Evidence or other data is analysed with tools such as machine learning.

In addition to original research, we also welcome reviews, dissertation or thesis abstracts, scientific commentaries and letters related to the subject.

Dosis is the sole Finnish journal in the field of pharmaceutical research, publishing contributions associated with pharmacy and related disciplines (www.dosis.fi). Dosis is an Open Access online journal, which reaches tens of

thousands of healthcare professionals, and more through social media.

We hope that you feel passionately about the dissemination of scientific findings related to digitalisation in the pharmaceutical and health sectors to healthcare professionals and informed citizens and look

forward to contributing to our special issue of Dosis!

If you are interested in contributing, please send an email as soon as possible to our Guest Editors for the special issue, Juha Turunen (turunen.juha@gmail.com) and Risto Kaikkonen (risto.kaikkonen@solita.fi)

or directly to Dosis at dosis@farmasialiitto.fi.
