Project on piloting eHealth services has started 

 

The main objective of Competitive Health Service ‐ project is to enhance the provision and accessibility of health  services particularly for the elderly and young families in the sparsely populated areas of Europe. The project de‐

velops and implements innovative eHealth solutions and promotes transfer of the best eHealth practices. It is  funded by the Northern Periphery Programme 2007‐2013 which addresses the specific challenges faced by the  northern regions of Europe. The project has a broad partnership and partners from five different countries: 

Finland, Sweden, Norway, Scotland (UK) and Ireland. Implementation of the project project will accomplished  through triple‐helix partnerships and the piloting of new eHealth services will involve representatives from the  public sector, universities and businesses. Read more:
