1) Follow the following link : http://geo.stat.fi/geoserver/web/.

You are now connected to the server belonging to Tilastokeskus (Statistics Finland). On the left you will find several tabs, click on the tab: "layer preview"

2) Choose the layer download format

You can see all layers of Statistic Finland. Go to the tab "all formats”,click on the tab “choose alayer” and choose the format that you want.

If you have chosen, the following layer : Seutukunnat 2014 (1:1 000 000) , the map on the left will open in a new window. Double click on the map and save it as a download.

3) Download the map

GeoServer is an open source and free computer server that allows users to share and modify geographic data.

Data formats:

• KML,

• GML,

• Shapefile,

• GeoRSS,

• PDF,

• GeoJSON, J

• PEG,

• GIF, SVG, PNG

Type of data:

• population

• map by province,

• satellite photos
